Kwik Space Disaster and Emergency

The adaptability of Kwik Space is exceptional. It offers multi use functionality, from independent living to standalone working space to an addition to an existing property.

Helping to solve the housing crisis and enabling working people to adapt to a post pandemic world, more efficiently.

Strong Walls

Concrete panel walls offer superb weather resistance and are fast to erect. Quickly painted this allows long term residents the chance to personalise their homes, adding variety and giving pride in their houses.

The walls are insulated, making the Kwik Space cheap to run and being comfortable to live in, no matter the weather or season.

Just because Kwik Space can be used in emergency situations does not mean that it has to be uncomfortable. This is a mini house with all the facilities needed to be self-sufficient and offering long term housing solutions.

The repurposing of Kwik Space units after the crisis has passed saves valuable resources and allows residents to stay on in comfort, or new residents to move in. The high quality of Kwik Space even means that they can be mortgaged in the future.

Developments

Kwik Space is brilliantly thought through. It minimises land use and materials, both frequently scarce resources in emergency situations.

Connecting the units is highly efficient, a considerable advance on lots of standalone buildings, yet retains the high quality of construction that Kwikhaus is known for.

Humanitarian Relief

Even without the growing threat of climate change, the World faces repeated disasters which require emergency accommodation.

However, Kwik Space should not be thought of as just a solution for emergency situations, it is also a long term solution to a requirement for quality, low build cost housing.
